# Freeform event + property names for G&S triggers

Freeform event + property names for Guides & Surveys triggers allow triggering guides/surveys based on events or properties that have not yet been tracked or will never be tracked in Amplitude.

### Freeform event + property names for G\&S triggers

Until now we only allowed tracked events + properties for Guides & Surveys triggers. However, there are cases where a customer wants to trigger a guide or survey based on an event/property that either (a) has not yet been tracked; (b) that will never be tracked to Amplitude.

Now these customers can happily trigger their guides/surveys as desired :slightly\_smiling\_face:

**Where:** Guides & Surveys detail page -> setup -> trigger

**Available in EUDC:** Yes
