Find session replays
이 페이지는 아직 귀하의 언어로 번역되지 않았습니다. 현재 작업 중이므로 곧 다시 확인해 주십시오.
Find a replay by date or behavior in Session Replay search, or open one from a chart, a user's event stream, or your homepage. Use search to compare sessions that meet the same conditions. Use User Look-Up to investigate a session reported by a specific user.
Replays are generally ready to view five minutes after a session begins. If a replay hasn't loaded, follow Troubleshoot Session Replay.
Search for a replay
- Navigate to the Session Replay page to view the list of replays.
- Select the calendar icon above the list and choose starting and ending dates, or a preset time range of one day, seven days, or 30 days. Date and time filters use the project's timezone.
- Select Add Filter to filter by cohorts, events, event properties, user properties, or session duration. Combine filters to narrow the list.
The results include replays within your selected time frame or matching your filters. The list shows a maximum of 100 replays. Your search generates a unique URL that you can share with your team.
When you exclude a specific property value, search returns replays with a different value and replays with no value for that property.
For the relationship between replay data and analytics events, refer to Session matching. To narrow results by summary-derived sentiment, filter replays by sentiment.
View Session Replay from User Look-Up
Use User Look-Up when a user reports a potential bug or you want to investigate their experience.
- Find the user with their user ID in User Look-Up.
- Select Play Session next to the session in the event stream.
The replay appears to the right of the event stream.
View Session Replay from a chart
- Open the Amplitude chart that contains the events you want to investigate.
- Open Microscope and select Watch Session Replays.
- Select Streams with session replays.
The replay modal shows replays that correspond to the selected chart data point. To watch with event-stream sync, open the standalone replay page from the modal. For playback controls, refer to the Session Replay viewer.
Availability in Amplitude charts
| Chart | Supported measures and restrictions |
|---|---|
| Event Segmentation | All six measures. |
| Funnel Analysis | The Conversion measure, selected in Measured as. Other measures, such as Time to Convert, don't support replays. Replays cover all outcomes at every step, including users who converted and users who dropped off. Select a converted or drop-off data point at any step, open Microscope, then select Watch Session Replays. Events appear from oldest to newest. |
| Journeys | Pathfinder and Journey Map visualizations. |
| User Sessions | All six measures. The chart doesn't support replays for custom-defined sessions. |
| Experiment charts | All Experiment charts. |
In Funnel Analysis, Conversion refers to the chart's measure. It doesn't mean that replays include only users who converted.
Session Replay supports segmentation by users. It doesn't support account-level reporting.
In a portfolio view, you can view replays from different users and projects. Amplitude doesn't stitch together a user's replays across projects. If a user moves between two projects, Amplitude generates a separate replay for each project.
View Session Replay from your homepage
Your homepage shows 100 sessions captured over the past seven days. Each session displays its start time, user ID, session length, and country. Select Play to open the replay modal.
If the Session Replay widget is missing from a customized homepage, reset your homepage, then re-add your customizations to make the widget visible.
