Session Replay Comments

Description: Native commenting inside the Session Replay modal — leave a comment on any replay, @mention teammates, and link straight to a specific moment in the recording, all without leaving Amplitude. • Session Comments tab, alongside Events, Summary, and Profile in the replay modal — flat, oldest-first thread with author, timestamp, and text • Post, edit, and delete your own comments • "Add current timestamp" button — inserts a clickable, seekable timestamp badge into a comment • @mention typeahead of org users, with full notification delivery (email, in-app, Slack) • All Activity tab + unread badge — see your comment activity across every replay in one place • Deep links — clicking a notification jumps straight to the replay and highlights the comment • Auto-bookmarks a replay when you comment on it

Why does this matter? • Insights were getting stripped of context: Today, spotting something in a replay means screenshotting it and pasting into Slack or email — losing the actual replay context. Now the observation lives right where it happened. • Comments capture the "when," not just the "what": Attach a timestamp while composing a comment and the published comment shows a clickable badge (e.g. ▶ 00:18) that jumps the player to that exact second — so a teammate reading it later can watch precisely what's being called out. • @mentions close the loop: Mention a teammate and they're notified (email, in-app, Slack) and can jump straight into the session.
